Travel & Tourism Mission

Spring Hope has culture, heritage, history and many things to do. The Travel & Tourism Committee will focus on making Spring Hope a destination people want to come to visit & take a look around, and enjoy what our small town has to offer. Wedding venues, antique shops, horseback riding tours, festivals & events, agritourism, are just a few examples of what Travel & Tourism looks like in Spring Hope. Marketing the town, advertising these venues, activities, events, and more are the key task for this committee. As an added benefit, new things will emerge & develop, and all this will give our residents something to do and more reasons to love Spring Hope. Ultimate goal is to make our town a fun place to live and visit. The chair of this committee will serve on the Mayor's advisory board as Travel & Tourism Advisor.

Put together packages and day tours, cross promote and market businesses in town to surrounding communities, create many new events. and work with Nash county Travel & Tourism.

LeaAnne is a current business owner of two Spring Hope Businesses, 102 W Nash Antiques and One Man's Treasure Auction House. She also sits on the board of directors for the Spring Hope Chamber of Commerce. She is an exemplary example of what it means to volunteer and contribute to the success of the community. LeaAnne worked with the State of NC as a Business Systems Analyst and a Financial Analyst for 16 years. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2008. Her strong leadership and time management skills will allow her to excel in the capacity of Travel & Tourism Advisor. She is full of ideas and and looks forward to making Spring Hope a destination for visitors while giving residents more to do an see right here in town.
