Mayor's Advisory Board Application

Sole responsibility of this committee is to plan and carry out the repair of outdated water pipes and valves, improve water quality,  upgrade Spring Hope's roads and sidewalks, technology,  and communications platforms.  

Growth is already surrounding us on all sides.  It's here and we can't stop it.  Having a robust, well managed, updated, and prepared infrastructure is critical to the long term success of Spring Hope.  This committee will create strategy to make sure Spring Hope's infrastructure can keep up with and support the town as it grows and develops.  The chair of this committee will serve on the Mayor's advisory board as the Mayor's Chief Infrastructure Advisor.

The communication committee will establish and create new open, honest, trustful lines of two way communication to keep citizens better informed and engaged.  

This committee will be responsible for developing, maintaining. and deciphering all communications across all channels. This two-way communication is what will truly give the citizens a voice and allow them to decide Spring Hope's future.   We must communicate with residents in the way in which they want to be communicated with.  This committee must facilitate organized and extraordinary  communication.  Committee chair will sit on the Mayor's advisory Board and serve as the Communications Director.

 Commerce, revitalization, development, growth, funding & grants and protecting Spring Hope's history will be the core of this committee.  As a member of this committee you will focus on bringing all parts of Spring Hope back to life while protecting the town's history and heritage as it forges forward and grows.  

Committee members will build relationships with developers, entrepreneurs, visionaries, higher up county and state elected officials,  and financiers.  The goal is to develop quality residential areas, bring businesses to town, and source funding & grants for revitalization.  The chair of this committee will serve on the Mayor's advisory board as the Chief Development Advisor.

Spring Hope has a very diverse mix of residents.  It's is vitally important that they all be included and all their voices be heard so that all citizens have an equal ability to pursue life, liberty, and happiness as they see it right here in Spring Hope.  We must develop more programs for citizens to interact, enjoy each other company, make memories together, and fall in love with their town. 

Community togetherness, service, safety, events, quality of life, and citizen engagement are the top priorities of this committee.  Members may develop events to bring the community together, structure and coordinate community outreach programs and volunteers, or organize public hearings to guide the town's elected officials.  The chair of this committee will serve on the Mayor's advisory board as the Community & Quality of Life Advisor. 

 Spring Hope has culture, heritage, history and many things to do.  The Travel & Tourism Committee will focus on making Spring Hope a destination people want to come to visit & take a look around, and enjoy what our small town has to offer.

Wedding venues, antique shops, horseback riding tours, festivals & events, agritourism, are just a few examples of  what Travel & Tourism looks like in Spring Hope. Marketing the town, advertising these venues, activities, events, and more are the key task for this committee. As an added benefit, new things will emerge & develop, and all this will give our residents something to do and more reasons to love Spring Hope. Ultimate goal is to make our town a fun place to live and visit. The chair of this committee will serve on the Mayor's advisory board as Travel & Tourism Advisor.
