A NEIGHBOR YOU KNOW, A LEADER YOU CAN TRUST
Raised in a Christian home in rural Nashville, NC, my wife, Danielle, is a Spring Hope native. We have one daughter, Lucy, two pugs Lolly and Dolly, and a Shar-Pei, Winnie. I enjoy time with my family, church, serving the community, and my in-home coral reef aquarium hobby.

Platform & What’s Next
A Steady Hand, Focused on Results
Spring Hope is moving forward — stronger infrastructure, cleaner water, and new life downtown.
As Mayor, my mission is to protect what makes our town special while continuing the hard work that keeps the revitalization of our town moving forward. Here’s what’s ahead in the next four years.
The Plan: Keep Spring Hope Steady
1) Reliable Infrastructure & Clean Water
- Finish multi-phase water-main replacement, valves, and service upgrades.
- Keep grants flowing so we improve systems without raising taxes.
- Clear, proactive construction communication for residents and businesses.
2) Business Growth & Visibility Initiative (BGVI)
A hands-on, Mayor’s Office program to help small businesses thrive and recruit new ones.
- Small-Business Concierge: one point of contact to cut red tape, coordinate permits, and connect owners to resources.
- Monthly Merchant Roundtable: listen, solve problems, share the calendar, and move fast together.
- Shop Spring Hope First: ongoing “buy local” promotions, events, and digital spotlights that drive foot traffic.
- Recruitment Partnerships: work with state/regional programs and brokers to attract new shops, services, and restaurants.
- Storefront Boosts: line up façade/beautification grants and quick-hit improvements that make downtown pop.
3) Downtown Revitalization & the Depot Event Center
- Complete the Depot and program it as a true economic engine—weddings, community banquets, small concerts, pop-up food events, maker markets, art shows, reunions, nonprofit fundraisers, civic gatherings, and more.
- Tie every Depot event to Main Street foot traffic with coordinated hours, sidewalk activations, and cross-promotions.
- Targeted recruitment for daily-needs retail and food concepts to fill gaps and extend evening/weekend activity.
4) Safer Streets, Stronger Neighborhoods
- Keep supporting law enforcement and community-based safety efforts.
- Fix drainage trouble spots, pursue storm-mitigation grants, and maintain clean, safe rights-of-way.
5). Parks, Recreation & Community Spaces
- Work with Parks & Rec advocates to explore family attractions like a splash pad or updated courts.
- Resurface basketball courts and consider converting older tennis courts to pickleball.
- Maintain playground equipment, benches, and lighting as part of a yearly review schedule.
- Use recreation investments to attract families and positive economic activity into Spring Hope.
6). Walkability & Accessibility
- Pursue funding for sidewalks connecting neighborhoods, senior apartments, and schools to downtown shops and pharmacies.
- Ensure safe crossings for pedestrians and those with mobility challenges.
- Seek state and federal programs that fund ADA-compliant walkways and accessibility upgrades.
7). Open, Responsible Government
- Keep budgets steady and transparent.
- Use every grant dollar wisely before spending local funds.
- Continue responsive communication — returning calls, listening to residents, and keeping Town Hall approachable.
8). Smart Growth & Responsible Planning
- Support balanced, well-planned growth that protects small-town character while strengthening essential services.
- Coordinate infrastructure, drainage, and transportation planning before approving major developments to avoid repeating costly mistakes upstream.
- Encourage quality—not quantity—in new housing and business projects, ensuring each one fits our town’s long-term infrastructure capacity and community feel.
- Preserve open space and neighborhood charm through thoughtful zoning, green buffers, and Main Street-first redevelopment before outward sprawl.
How We’ll Pay For It
Keep doing what works: grants, partnerships, and smart phasing—not higher taxes. We’ll continue leveraging state and federal programs, regional partners, and private sponsorships to stretch every local dollar.
What You Can Expect From Me
- Accessibility: I return calls and show up.
- Action: If there’s a snag, I escalate it and get it moving.
- Accountability: Clear timelines, clear results.
- Teamwork: Bring people together—residents, merchants, churches, and civic groups—to make good things happen.
Let’s Keep Spring Hope Moving
If you share this vision—reliable water, a lively downtown, strong small businesses, and transparent, tax-responsible leadership—I’d be honored to earn your vote.
